| Devotionals - o) Day 15 Prayer of Power | | James 5: 13-16
13) Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. 14) Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15) And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. 16) Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.
Faith believes what you have before you receive it.
It is calling those things that are not as though they were.
Whatever the situation is you are praying about, you have to believe that you have received what you are asking for before you ask for it.
In other words, things become real in your mind (spiritual) before they become real in your world (natural). If you are praying for healing, in order for your healing to take place, those who are praying for you must believe that you have been healed, even before they pray.
Whatever you pray for, you must believe that you have it in order for you to receive it.
The prayer of faith is the prayer that sees the answer in the spiritual and prays that answer into the natural. This kind of prayer is the prayer of power.
