| Devotionals - z4) Day 30 Speaking Reality | | In the beginning there was God. There was no heaven and there was no earth. The world as we know it today did not exist.
God created heaven and earth and all the basic elements needed to support life - such as light and darkness to separate the night from the day and the separation of land and water to sustain the various plant and animal life - by speaking them into existence.
God said, “Let there be light and there was light…”
God said, “Let the earth bring forth grass…”
God said, “Let the waters bring forth abundantly…”
God said, “Let the earth bring forth the living creatures…”
God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness…”
God saw, God spoke and it came into being. (Genesis 1)
We are created in the image of God, which means that the same qualities that God has are in us. God saw, God spoke and it became His reality therefore what we see and what we speak will become our reality.
If you don’t like the reality that you are living right now, it means that you need to change the way you see yourself. Instead of comparing yourself to someone else by looking into the mirror of the world, see yourself as God sees you by living your life according to His word.
Remember that we become what we speak and we speak what we see. Make sure that what you see is what you want to become your reality.
